SPRING EDUCATIONAL EVENTS IN UKRAINE: SMART KIDS ACADEMY, EDCAMP CHERNIVTSI, INNOVATION EXHIBITION FOR NEW UKRAINIAN SCHOOL

March and beginning of April turned out to be full of events for educators. The NAVIGATOR as one of the key suppliers of IT-solutions for education, together with the partner Multimedia Publishing HouseHouse“Rozumniki”, did not remain uninvolved. We are presenting a digest of the main events, which took place during this period with our participation.

Spring session of the SMART KIDS Academy that was taking place from March 29 till April 01 in Khmelnytskyi region gathered teaches of primary school for the purpose of familiarization with the best practices of information technologies application in a teaching and educational process, improvement of multimedia and computer knowledge, and also exchange of experience and “reloading” during the holidays. In addition to intense training programmes, the educators had an opportunity to take part in artmaster classes to enjoy precious live music and spa treatment.

Chief Business Development Officer of the NAVIGATOR Viktoriia Yevtushenko attended the event as a guest spokesperson having held a lecture about specificity of procurements for education.

Spring session of SMART KIDS Academy took place in relaxed and friendly atmosphere and allowed teachers trying themselves in using innovative materials in the educational process. All listeners got certificates with specification of the module and number of hours.

EdCamp Chernivtsi is a region (non-)conference that took place on March 31 at Chernivtsi University and attracted 300 educators from different parts of the world and 20 spokespersons, who shared their experience and discussed the issues that are important in teaching. 

The aim of EdCamp is to help teachers and people leave behind the stereotypes of Soviet school; to choose the path to a new school education; and to help pupils to realize the challenges of the 21st century and to establish a bridge for socializing with people who have already become successful in Ukraine and abroad and who are changing the surrounding community.

The NAVIGATOR and our partnerMultimedia Publishing HouseHouse “Rozumniki”presented a report in the “Innovations” block, where they told about innovative computer solutions for primary school.

The listeners paid a special attention to the report on the design of Ukrainian schools and on international experience and possibilities of its application in Ukraine.

The main topics of the event were innovations in management activities, alternative educations, creation of a modern educational system.

The innovation exhibition for New Ukrainian School, which took place on April 05 in Vinnitsia during an extended government meeting through Prime Minister, Minister of Education, administrative officials, was dedicated to the issue of creating a modern educational system. 

In the light of the fact that the government allocated almost one billion hryvnias for procurement of school equipment, the participants of the meeting with interest looked around exhibition, which included not only technical devices and software (electronic resources for New Ukrainian school, teacher’s computer, pupil’s personal device Impression 110ES, multimedia boards), but also innovative and modern furniture for primary school, mobile STEM-labs and learning material for ensuring educational process
