WINTER SESSION OF SMART KIDS ACADEMY IS OVER
On the 15th-21st of January, a long-awaited meeting of like-minded people,SMART KIDS Academy, Winter Session, took place in the cosy hotel "Sunny Provence" in the city of Khmelnytskyi.
According to the plan of the organizers of the Multimedia Publishing House"Rozumniki", the event is becoming more and more a platform for the exchange of experience, communication, mastering of new pedagogical techniques and developments, as well as the opportunity to unite teachers and innovators involved in the All-Ukrainian project "Smart Kids", methodists, leading professionals in the field of education and information technology within the frameworks of the eventful programme.
The winter session of the SMART KIDS Academy has provided a lot of interesting activities for the participants, including both computer training and meetings, lectures, creative master classes, as well as exquisite live music and spa treatments for relaxation of and education for educationists.
28 teachers from all over Ukraine came to teach on the first course for the newcomers of the project (on the 15th-18th of January). The second course for more educated project participants was held on the 19th-21st of January. In general, the Winter Session of the SMART KIDS Academy has united more than 50 teachers and contributors.
Representatives from Kiyv, Ternopil, Sumy, Poltava, Odesa, Zaporizhzhia, Ivano-Frankivsk and Kharkiv regions listened to the reports with great interest and participated in the suggested activities. 7 speakers, representatives of the Ministry of Education, Institute of Education Content Modernization, the Multimedia Publishing House"Rozumniki", NAVIGATOR, coaches, and psychologists shared the most up-to-date information and conducted training sessions.
The following questions were brought up for discussion of the participants:
1 What is the New Ukrainian School?
2 What is its connection with the All-Ukrainian project "Rozumniki"?
3 How to join the project?
4. What kind of technical equipment is required for a regular primary school class (nonspecialized computer rooms)?
5. How to contribute to support 360 in the daily work of teachers with new technologies: teachers and colleagues, children and students, parents, school, district and region administration.
Practical part included a series of training sessions on installation and configuration of Smart Kids programs and work with the personal devices for pupils by the NAVIGATOR.
Viktoriia Yevtushenko, the NAVIGATOR Chief Business Development Officer, actively participated in the SMART KIDS Winter Session. Participation in the planned activities and informal communication of the project participants has become a valuable experience and source of valuable insights and feedback on the use of technologies in the educational field today and wishes of teachers regarding changes in this field.
During her report, Victoriia shared with the participants of the "Rozumniki" project the important information about the changes in the budgeting of the educational sphere for 2018 and talked about the latest techniques of using modern computer technology in the educational process as an example of innovative developments of the NAVIGATOR with the specialized software from "Rozumniki".

The winter session of the SMART KIDS Academy was eventful and dynamic and gave new experience and useful knowledge which teachers would begin to implement in their own lessons in the near future.
